Marketing Specialist
Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team on a commission-based structure. This is an ideal role for someone with strong social media marketing skills and a background in graphic design who enjoys helping small businesses grow their online presence and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter

Create engaging social media content, including graphics, short videos, and copywriting

Design promotional materials, digital ads, and marketing collateral for clients and internal campaigns

Manage and grow G.Holmes Designs’ own social media presence to attract new business leads

Assist in developing email marketing campaigns and newsletters

Research trends and insights to optimize marketing strategies and content

Collaborate with clients to understand their marketing needs and develop tailored solutions
-
Actively prospect for new business opportunities and contribute to client acquisition efforts (commissions will be based on sales and new business generated)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign at minimum)

Strong understanding of social media platforms and current marketing trends

Experience creating marketing content across digital and print platforms

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Comfortable working independently and proactively pursuing new business opportunities

Sales mindset with an interest in commission-based earning potential

Familiarity with Canva, Mailchimp (or similar email marketing tools) is a plus
-
Basic knowledge of website management or content management systems is a plus
